I need help guys
Im gonna do a 1jz swap in my 89 coupe
Ive been reading forum after forum about the swap and Ive heard a bunch of things
they have a swap kit but its 1550$ and it comes with pretty much everything to get the motor in
Ive also heard you can use sr mounts with the stock 1jz mounts and it go's right in

they also sell the wiring harness so its pretty much plug and play
idk what I should do
my limit is 10,000$ for this car
and I could give two shits and a fuck about what it looks like
I just wanna drive sideways!!!

10 g's is a lot! and that is all you would really need for this swap and to get sideways, really all u need is the engine, LSD, and a 5spd. When you get the 1J be sure to get the R154 tranny with it, its the strongest 5spd tranny toyota made for the supra. With that engine your gunna have enough power stock to get slideways. Trust me I know from experiance.
